Programmer
eKhaya ICT is looking for a student/beginner programmer to assist with programming duties. The applicant must have completed 1 or 2 years of tertiary education with a major in computer science or mathematics. The applicant must be highly motivated and share in our mission. A certain degree of patience, perseverance and lateral thinking are also required to successfully overcome the programming challenges which will be the responsibility of the person. The programming tasks will require the applicant to learn OpenOffice scripting at a very deep level using BASIC and Java programming languages. Further tasks may involve PHP, JavaScript using the Dojo framework and other modern web technologies.
